All of the facilities at Mt. Rushmore National Memorial can be accessed by the mobility impaired. The films are provided with closed captioning. Park brochures are available by request in Braille and large print.

Federal Entrance Fee - None

Parking Fee

$11.00 - Annual Pass (Cars and RV's)
This parking fee is valid for the entire calendar year in which it is purchased.
National Park Passes, Golden Age, Access and Eagle Passports are not accepted for parking.
Bus parking fee is $50.00 valid for a period of 24 hours.

Directions:

Located in Western South Dakota, 23 miles South West of Rapid City on Highway 16.

The most direct route by car is via Interstate - 90, exiting on exit 57 to Highway 16 (also called mount Rushmore Road) which goes directly Keystone. From Keystone take Highway 244 to the Mount Rushmore Memorial entrance.

Visitors coming from the South should take Highway 385 North through Hot Springs and Custer to Highway 244, which is the road leading to the Memorial.
